there's a first time for everything

So, unless you've never visited my wonderful scribbling place (aka this blog) before, you'll have noticed that I changed the template. However, what you may not know is something even more wonderful.

I edited the HTML.

(Take a break and let that sink in.) Yes. It's not my template, but somehow I managed to edit it until it was to my satisfaction. This may not seem like a big deal, but I am literally one of the least technologically savvy people I know. (Witness this post the other day...although that might just be the mutant squirrels.) Computers have been known to turn off as I approach. Despite having it for several years, I still haven't figured out how to change the ringtone on our landline phone. (I don't even own a cell, but if I did... let's not even go there.)

Basically...I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF RIGHT NOW. It was nothing big... but it was a first step. (Yes, this was basically just me giving myself a giant hug. Someone has to.)
